Pritha Mehra

Chef Pritha founded Mystic Kitchen in 2009 and has offered a variety of exciting classes and demonstrations in Indian cooking throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Pritha grew up in India where food played a central role in her family and community. Having experienced the incredible variety and richness of Indian cuisine, she has recreated this diverse culinary experience in the United States. 
 
Pritha has years of experience cooking for friends, families and special occasions. She has created recipes using simple, fun and fresh cooking techniques and ingredients readily available in neighborhood grocery stores. She has taught and demonstrated cooking in a variety of venues - Williams Sonoma, Whole Foods, Georgetown Graham Hotel, Fairfax County Adult Education, Wedding Showers, Bar Mithvahs, Culinary Clubs, Book Clubs.
 
Mystic Kitchen’s demonstrations and regularly scheduled cooking classes provide the tools and know-how to recreate the cuisine of India in any kitchen. She has promoted exciting menus through her classes, demonstrations, pop-up restaurants (Mardi Gras Melange (Cajun/Indian fusion), Italian/Indian).
 
Pritha has now partnered with Pansaari to host cooking classes in the culinary hub where she will invite Chefs to promote cuisines from around the world.
